Woman Shoots Inside Connecticut Police Station (VIDEO)

In a startling incident, a woman was captured on surveillance camera firing a gun inside a Connecticut police station. The unsettling footage reveals a 51-year-old woman entering the lobby of the Bristol Police Department, brandishing a gun aimed at her own head.

The incident occurred around 11:35 pm, during a time when there were no employees present at the lobby desk. The woman, with the firearm in hand, knocked on the front desk window with her left hand before ultimately discharging the weapon towards the door and front desk.

Fortunately, the bullet-resistant glass withstood the impact, preventing any serious damage or injuries. After firing the shots, the woman removed her jacket and calmly took a seat in the lobby.

However, the tense situation escalated when more shots were fired towards the door, where police officers were attempting to enter the lobby. In response, officers swiftly intervened and subdued the shooter using a taser.

The suspect was then taken to the hospital for evaluation and subsequently released into police custody. She now faces several serious charges, including attempted murder with special circumstances and the illegal discharge of a firearm. To ensure her presence during legal proceedings, the suspect is being held on a hefty $1 million bond.

This alarming incident serves as a stark reminder of the unpredictable nature of law enforcement encounters and the importance of maintaining vigilance and preparedness at all times. Authorities continue to investigate the motives behind the woman’s actions as they work to ensure the safety and security of both officers and the public.
