Haley Bieber is opening up about why she’s distant from her family.
The 27-year-old who announced she was pregnant with her and Justin Bieber’s first child in May sits down for an interview with W magazine published July 23rd and explains why she’s leaving the baldwood name behind her.
She tells the outlet: I’m not super close with my family at this point in my life because I feel like I’m very independent.
I’m my own individual now and I’ve built my own family, adding, but when I look back on my childhood and how I grew up, I have very fond, beautiful memories.
And the road founder, who’s the youngest daughter of Steven and Kenya Baldwin, acknowledges the privilege that comes with growing up in a famous family, but these days she’s putting all of her energy into her and Justin’s life together, even if it comes with hate.
Haley continues.
People have made me feel so bad about my relationship since day W.
Oh, they’re falling apart, they hate each other, they’re getting divorced.
It’s like people don’t want to believe that we’re happy.
And while Haley and Justin have been married for nearly six years now, she admits that the negative comments don’t quote her any less, adding that it nearly got in the way of the couple having children.
Quote: in the beginning it was super emotional for me.
Like I love this human so much, how can I possibly bring someone else into this?
I’m trying to soak in these days of it being Justin and me just the two of us, if that’s not to say Haley wasn’t ready to have a baby more, so she knows it won’t be easy, as she told the Sunday Times last year.
Quote: it’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends.
I can’t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child.
However, at the end of the day, their main goal is to quote: do the best we can to raise them as long as they feel loved and safe.
