We just arrived at the track in Vegas, and it’s blazing hot—around 90 degrees. The cars are rolling through tech inspection, and we’re about to jump into practice and qualifying, all in quick succession.
The track is rougher than expected, and the heat is making things tricky, especially on the seams. But I’m excited—nervous, too, but mostly excited. The plan is to take it easy in the first stage, learn as much as possible, and then push harder in the second stage. A top 15 finish would be great, and a top 10 would be incredible.
It’s race day, and while the nerves are still there, I’m ready to give it my all. The team has done an amazing job preparing the car, and I’m just focused on making the most of this opportunity. I finished 13th in my first-ever Xfinity Series start, which I’m thrilled about. The car handled great, and I learned a lot about how to navigate the track compared to the truck series. It was a fantastic experience, and I’m eager for more opportunities like this.
