Talladega Superspeedway always brings excitement. Last year, I finished sixth by sticking to a solid strategy—hang back until the final stage, then push hard in the last 15 laps. That’s the game plan again this year. Qualifying’s straightforward: just keep the wheel steady and get the best speed.
Before races, I like grabbing a First Form salted caramel protein bar. It’s my ritual now, and I’ve got stacks of them since signing a sponsorship deal. Today’s race strategy is simple: stay in the back, avoid the draft, and go hard after the last pit stop. It worked last year, so fingers crossed.
The race is intense. A few wrecks happen, but we avoid them and stick to the plan. With three laps left, I push forward and dodge a huge pile-up. We cross the finish line in P8, thanks to patience and timing. I’m definitely using this strategy again at future superspeedways. It’s all about being in the right place at the right time.
