Benny Blanco, the renowned music producer currently dating pop sensation Selena Gomez, recently shared his future aspirations, revealing a strong desire to start a family. However, he remains non-committal about immediate marriage plans.
During a candid interview on the Howard Stern Show on May 14th, Blanco expressed his hopes for the next chapter of his life. “I want to have kids,” he stated. “That’s the next goal. To check the box.” He emphasized his love for children, noting his numerous godchildren and nephews. Yet, despite his enthusiasm for fatherhood, he was vague about any imminent marriage proposals to Gomez.
“I don’t have anything yet,” the 36-year-old producer admitted, humorously adding, “I got no shoes on. I got to get my act together.” While Blanco’s playful remark downplayed the urgency, it’s clear that he holds deep affection for Gomez. “When I do look at her, I’m always like, I don’t know a world where it could be better than this,” he shared.
Since their relationship became public in December, the couple has not shied away from expressing their love. Gomez, in a heartfelt birthday message to Blanco on Instagram in March, praised his emotional resilience, positive outlook, and incredible talent. “Your emotional endurance, positive disposition, unbelievable talent that blows me away, undeniable humor and loving, kind heart absolutely kill me. I love you,” she wrote.
Their romance first stirred public interest in December 2023, when Gomez posted a tribute to Blanco on a fan page’s Instagram. She described him as “my absolute everything” and “the best thing that’s ever happened to me.” A picture of Gomez with her head resting on Blanco’s chest and another of her wearing a diamond bee ring further fueled the relationship rumors.
Their collaboration extends beyond personal affection. Blanco and Gomez have worked together on several hit tracks, including “Same Old Love” from Gomez’s 2015 album Revival, and “Kill Em with Kindness,” also from Revival.
