Cops Stake Out Ulta Store to Catch Thieves (VIDEO)

Acting on intelligence that a vehicle linked to previous robberies at Ulta locations was headed to an Exton store, the West Whiteland Police Department set up a stakeout operation.

While observing the suspect vehicle, officers watched as the driver briefly went into the store and made a small purchase. He then returned to the car, at which point two other individuals exited the vehicle and entered the Ulta store.

Surveillance footage captured the two suspects filling up bags with stolen merchandise, which set off the store’s alarm system. That’s when police moved in to confront the thieves as they attempted to flee the scene.

A 16-year-old male and 19-year-old Isaiah Williams of New York were apprehended after a brief chase around the store. They now face charges including retail theft, conspiracy, and criminal mischief.

Williams was held on $20,000 bond, while the driver managed to escape the police sting. Authorities are now seeking the public’s help in identifying the third suspect.

This brazen daytime shoplifting attempt underscores the ongoing challenge retailers face in combating organized retail crime.

The West Whiteland Police Department’s proactive response highlights the importance of law enforcement collaboration to catch these serial offenders in the act.
