In a surprising development, Jason Aldean and his longtime publicity firm, The Green Room, are parting ways. The Green Room, one of the most prominent firms in Nashville, represents major stars such as Reba McEntire and Dierks Bentley. Jason Aldean has been with The Green Room for 17 years, but as of today, their professional relationship has ended.
Billboard reported that Tyne Parrish, co-owner of The Green Room, did not provide specific reasons for the split. However, it comes in the wake of a recent social media controversy involving Jason’s wife, Brittany Aldean. Brittany posted a video of herself applying makeup, captioned with, “I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life.”
This post sparked outrage and led to a heated exchange with country artists Maren Morris and Cassadee Pope. Brittany later returned to social media to clarify that her initial post had been taken out of context.
Despite the timing, Parrish emphasized that the decision to part ways was based on professional considerations. He stated to Billboard, “Music has always been and remains The Green Room’s core focus. So we had to make the difficult decision, after 17 years, to step away from representing Jason. We aren’t the best people for the gig anymore, but will always be big fans of his music. He is one of the greatest live entertainers in country music.”
As of now, Jason Aldean has not commented on his separation from The Green Room.
