Former Iowa women’s basketball star, Kate Martin, suited up for her first game with the Las Vegas Aces and unfortunately it didn’t go the way she thought it would, or we thought it would for this one.

We heading to Iowa.

So the aces W 89 to 80 on the Phoenix over the Phoenix Mercury.

But unfortunately Morton had a did not play coach’s decision, and it’s one of them situations where you can kind of expect that, because you’re talking about a world championship team, the Las Vegas Aces.

They have a whole lot of Talent on there.

So to get minutes is definitely G to be a struggle.

It’s gonna be a fight if it’s not a blowout.

Somebody go down with injuries.

It’s going to be hard for Kate Martin to actually get out there and get those reps, but she’s going to be able to gain experience, be around the team, go through practice and just improve her game, and we never know down the line.

Maybe we can get Kate Martin reunited with Caitlyn Clark on the Indiana Fever, with Coach Blutter coming out of retirement, being the coach.

You know that would be a crazy little situation.

Gab Marshall, come out of um, not playing for a while and jump on the squad, and then now we’re talking about an elite team.

Kate Martin with experience.

Caitlyn Clark with experience.

Yeah, It’s gonna be a problem if that does happen.

But um, you know, playing time is eventually gonna come for Kate Martin.

It’s just starting out first game playing with the world Champs.

It wasn’t a super blowout.

They won by nine, but it was a little bit closer than um expected.

So it it makes sense that in this game she didn’t get opportunity, But continuing to work, continue to put her head down and show that she belongs, and I’m pretty sure within the next couple games she will get an opportunity to ball out and show exactly what she’s made of.

So, and we all can’t wait for that.
