What’s going on.
Ladies and gentlemen, it’s Daniel, and welcome back to video.
Today I’ll be doing the August edition of the Nascar Silly Season update.
We’re going to recap everything that’s happened so far for the 2024 to 2025 Nascar Silly Season, including driver moves, Cruise cheep moves and also broadcasting moves as well.
So anyways, let’s go ahead and just jump straight into it.
Silly Season rumors begin to circulate in late.
Barad and Drey goal could potentially be joining Nascar.
There’s a rumor of speculation they could be buying in inspired Motorsports.
They over the course of the last couple of months that they could buying away in is gamebridge has a big association with in global.
There’s a chance they could join Nascar as early as 2025.
Den L May was confirmed that Mata Benedetta would be returning to Viking Motorsports for the remainder of 2024
And it’s also expected a Matt to benad more than likely back with Viking Motorsports in 2025.
He’ll be looking to build up that program as their team looks get stronger and better in the 2025 season season.
Then it was began to be reported in late of that time that Jtg dhy racing there’s been some changes expected to be coming as Kroger could be leaving Jtg dhy racing at the end of this year and going over to Joe Gibbs Racing.
Tad and Jod Geka are expected also to go over jgr in 2025.
They’re going to be sponsoring drivers like Tai Giz, potentially as Monster might be leaving jgr at the end of this season, and Jg dhy will be having some new ownership changes, most likely in 2025.
But it was also announced about a week after his reports started coming out that Ricky sener has signed a three-year contract extension with Jtd Dhy racing to continue driving the number 47 car.
While it’s unclear what the team name is going to be and who the owners will be for the organization, we do think Brad Dhy and Gordon Smith will be co-owners of this organization next year.
We don’t know how long the contracts are going to be and what the team will be looking like in 2025.
Then, late April and early may, it was confirmed that Dale J will be joining Amazon and Tnt starting in 2025.
Dale Jr will be doing all the commentary for every race and will probably be doing the practice and qualifying sessions for both networks as well.
Dale Jr will be getting paid a lot more by Amazon and won’t be on as many broadcasts, though as dirty mode.
Media stuff will also go to Amazon in 2025.
Then it was confirmed in early May that Michael Mow, shockingly, will be joining Spire Motorsports in 2025 to drive the number s car in a multi-year deal.
Travis Peterson, while it’s not been officially confirmed, is expected to be the crew chief for Michael Mall 2025 and Mcdow be looking to get some stability because it’s been onee deals with front row.
He’ll be over Aspire Motorsports starting in 20125.
Then it was confirmed after Darlington that Chris Bucher has signed a multi-year extension with Rfk racing back in 2023.
Chris Bush has had a lot of good runs and he’s done a lot of great things with the team in the last couple of years.
It didn’t really surprise or shock me to see that it’ll be staying with Rfk for the long-term future.
Then there’s been a lot of talk about Junior Motorsports potentially going Cup Series racing over the last year.
So, however, Dale Jr did confirm that more than likely Junior Motorsports will not in fact be joining the Cup Series in 2025.
There’s a chance he could have an open team next year, but they’re probably not going to be going Cup racing maybe at all in 20125, though they have been looking at a charter.
They are not expecting to move up.
I think a lot of us want them to move up, but we are not expecting Jrm to move up to the Cup Series in 2025.
Then Chris Rice confirmed in late May that call racing will not be selling any Charters and not merging with Trackout racing.
There have been rumors and speculation that call racing could be merging with Trackout racing for 2025, but it’s not expected to happen.
While there could be some executive changes coming over the team next year and some other big moves happening with call racing, they will not be making any major changes, at least with their team at this particular moment.
Then was reporter after Carl Edwards was announced that he’d be going into the Nascar theme, that he is not planning to return to Nascar to drive.
Keep that in mind, because he did say that commitment is going to be the most important thing if he ever wanted to come back behind the wheel.
However, he has stated recently that he’s very interested in getting into a booth, maybe calling some Nascar Cup races on Amazon, perhaps, maybe with Tnt, maybe with Fox, maybe the Nbc, maybe with the Cw, perhaps in 2025.
Carl, as now is I interested in coming back and doing racing, but he could come back and do some broadcasting potentially in 2025.
There’s been a lot of speculation surrounding bubble walls and he’s expected to sign a multi-year contract extension with 2311 racing.
Some of recently has said maybe he go to Spire Motorsports, but many do believe that bubble walls will sign a contract extension in the next couple weeks.
With 2311 he brings a lot of sponsorship and funding to the table.
He’s made the playoffs once at this point and will likely make it for second year in 2024 with the speed he’s been showing as of late.
Then it was confirmed about a month or so ago that Austin Dylan has signed a multi-year contract extension with Richard Chis racing.
There have been a lot of rumors going around that Austin was going to retire at the end of 2024 and go into an management role and a higher up Ro in the competition side, but he will be staying with Rcr at least through the 2026 season.
Then it was confirmed in early June that Seas racing will be shutting down at the end of 20- 24.
All their Charters will be sold to the highest bidder going into next year.
They don’t have the shop anymore.
We can purchase clothes or anything like that.
They will all be gone and everybody from the organization will be looking for new place to head out to in the 2025 year, as shr will shut down.
One of those teams that is expected to purchase a charter is 2311 racing.
They’ll be looking to expand to a three car operation in 2025, as they will get one of the shr charters.
It’s been rumored that Riley Herz might get the chance to an opportunity to get behind the wheel of this third seat going into next year.
Maybe somehow Kurt Bush, Carl Edwards, get behind the wheel, though I don’t think Carl Edwards will be back racing, but we could see maybe Chandler Smith as well or Cory Heim.
But they will expand a three car team next year.
Another team that is expected to buy superos racing Charter is track house racing.
They’re also expected to expand to a three car operation going into 2025.
They’ve got sponsorship funding for long term.
They’re in really really good shape going forward and I don’t think trackouts racing will be making any other changes outside of that.
They will be a three c car team, though most likely in 2025.
One team that did confirm they’re going to be three car operation, though, is front R motorsports.
They had acquired a charter from Super Hos racing the day or two days after it was announced Shr was closing.
They acquire one for $20 million, as we learned from Adam Sturm, and, like I mentioned, it will be a three car team in the 2025 Nascar Cup series season will also have a truck series program once again next year.
Then it was confirmed in late to mid June that Todd Gillan has signed a multi-year contract extension with front row Motorsports.
The number is still to be announced at this particular moment, but many do believe that he will be in the number 38 car once again in 2025.
Todd’s done a great thing with this organization as a l. he’s done so, has some great performances and he’ll be back in the cup series with Fmer Motorsports in the 2025 Nascar Cup series season.
Now let’s talk about Daniel Suarez.
He is expected to sign a multi-year extension with track house Racing for the next few years, but there’s been rumors and rampid speculation.
He won’t be back with track house and could go to Spire Motorsports, but I do believe, going into next year, that he’ll be back with track house racing.
He’s done really good things over there.
He’s won a race so far this year.
We will likely see Dan Sws back with track house racing in the 2025 Cup series season.
Now let’s talk about Sam Mayer.
Sam Mayer could be joining the Cup Series in 2025.
As he’s been linked to two organizations or three former Motorsports, he’s currently one of the favorites for the third seat going into next year.
We also do know he’s a front runner, potentially for another organization like Spire Motorsports going to 2025 and colleag racing as well, but many do Believers a good chance that Sam Mayer will end up in a front row Motorsports seat to drive the number 36 car for their organization in the third car in 2025.
Then you got Christian ekas.
Christian ekas has been rumored to potentially joining the Cup Series in 2025 with multiple organizations.
You have Farm Motorsports.
He’s been linked to.
You have call racing.
He’s been linked to at points and now Spire Motorsports is another team that he’s been linked to as well.
There’s also chatter.
He can move out to expin next year with colag racing, but Christian ekas is expected to be on the move and going to a new team potentially in 2025.
Now track house racing is a very difficult decision to make, as Shanan Gisbergen could be joining track house in the Nascar Cup Series in 2025.
With their Cup Series program.
Shane brings a lot of sponsorship and funding to the table.
He’s got the weather tech sponsorship, the Wendy sponsorship, among other things, and Shanan Gizor has done some really solid and good things over Nick finny already picking up three wins, which is still the most so far in Xfinity.
He’ll likely move up to the cup series with Trackout racing in 2025.
This means that Zay Smith could be out of track house at the end of this year.
There is a chance he can end up at front row Motorsports in the third front row seat next year, but he also could stve with spy Motorsports with the news about Cor Joy that we’re going to discuss here in just a little bit.
Zay Smith is, I think, a very talented driver.
He’s starting to figure out this Nextg car and I do think there’s a good chance he could be back one of those organizations in 2025.
Another driver that could be moving up to the cup series Z next year is Riley herbs.
There’s been a lot of rumors and speculation that Riley herbs could be joining 20 through1 Racing for 2025.
He does have an offer from the Hos Factur Team that we’ll talk about here in a little bit, but many do believe that Riley herd’s more than likely moving up to the cup series to drive 2311 racing in the third seat going into 2025.
Another driver could end up at 2311 racing is Martin Shurik Jr.
He will retire from full-time racing, as he announced at Iowa Speedway, but he could run part-time with 20 through1 racing next year in a fourth 2311 racing car, Martin of course, sponsored by Bass Shops.
He also likely run some Xfinity series and truck series races and maybe do some cars late model tour races as well, but we do believe the mar Trix Jr will be back in doing some select races but we not be back fulltime in the Nascar Cup Series next year.
Now let’s talk about Kyle Bush.
There’s been a lot of rampant rumors as of late that Kyle Bush could be joining Spire Motorsports next year, but he is expected to be returning to Richard Childrenis racing in 2025.
Rcr really likes him.
From what I understand, they’ve exercised this option, though there is a chance there could be a buyout that is coming for Kyle bus, but many do believe that he will be at least with this team next year.
At Rcr they’ve exercised the option.
They do expect them to stick around.
I don’t think Cabo should be going anywhere.
I think he will be staying with Rcr in 2025 to get the program continued going.
Another driver that’s been ruined beyond the move is Justin Haley, but he did confirm about a month or so ago that he is expected to return to rickw racing next year.
However, there’s been people rumoring him to go back to Spire Motorsports.
They have a third car that’s available going into next year as of right now, and I think Justin Illy going to Spire would make a lot of sense, but I don’t think he’s going to be going anywhere.
Unfortunately.
I think he will sa with fire Motorsports, at least through npire with the Rico racing group in 2025.
Another driver recently has been linked to Spire is Ryan priest.
Ryan priest also, though, could be in the Nascar’s finish Series in 2025, but could be Inspire as equipment.
He could be of Rick or racing, but he’s also been linked to the Hos Factory team.
I think there’s a really great chance, and a strong possibility, that you will end up seeing Ryan priest in a potential Hos Factory Nasir C Series ride in 2025.
Then it was confirmed about four weeks ago that Josh Bry would officially be joining the Wood Brothers in 2025.
He-
We don’t know who the crew chief- is currently at the moment for Josh Barry going into next season.
We do believe there will be a crew chief announced soon, and we are expecting that it will be coming from one of the Pensy groups next year.
We do think he’ll be in the Nascar cups.
We know he will be, but we do believe he’ll get a crew aief announcement here very, very soon.
This means Harrison Burton will not be returning to the Wood Brothers in 2025.
He could be returning to Exin.
He might go to the Hos factur team next season.
He also go to a team like Am racing as well, as we know.
We don’t know who the driver is, but he does bring sponsorship.
And funny, Harris bur is looking for a seat currently going into 2025, as he doesn’t have one at this point.
Speaking of Hos Factory team, we now know they’re going to be retaining a steart Hos Charter going into 2025.
They’re going to have one cup series team and two Nascar Xfinity Series teams.
Joe Kuster is going to manage the operation, while Jee Hos focus on the F1 program and they’re going to have an Rfk Alliance next year.
Hos Factory team will have a lot of support.
They’ll be looking to run really great next year as they look to run really great and have a fantastic run at it in 2025.
Then it was confirmed in early July that chase Brisco will be driving the 19th for Joe Gibbs Racing in 2025, replacing Martin Trck Jr and James small is going to be the crew chief.
Once again, Bass Shops is going to sponsor for a lot of races.
We do think Mahindra also could potentially be sponsoring as well.
We do not know the sponsorship other than bass for shops at this particular moment.
Another driver that’s expected to say a Joe gives racing potentially next year’s Eric Amara.
It was confirmed not too long ago he had got in a fight with Bubba Wallace.
We do think Eric Amara will be staying with them for T more races this year and we also do believe that Eric Om Ru will be back at Jgr once again in 2025 as a do, like Eric Omal in the performances that he’s had then.
It was a board during the Chicago Street courts week and the Zillich is in talks to join Junior Motorsports starting in 2025.
Conor Zillich has been very impressive in the lower series.
He bring sponsorship to the table.
Obviously he’s work with the track house.
Family Track house will be funding it with Weathertech. potentially.
We do think Conor Zillich will be in a Jrm car most likely in 2025.
Then it was confirmed about two or three weeks ago that Rodney chos will be joining Spire Motorsports in 2025, the crew chief, the number seven car.
We do not know who the driver is going to be at this point.
We’re still waiting on that, but we do know going into next Ronnie chers move over to Spire, which is a shocking move for a lot of people.
We do think Ronnie chers could do a very strong job with Spire Motorsports once again in the 2025 Cup series season.
Then it was confirmed about two or three weeks ago that Noah grayon will be joining from Motorsports in 2025 on a multi-year deal.
It’s expect to be a two or three deal year deal at leas and he will probably, in the 34 Car which was most likely sponsor him for a majority of the Season.
Bastard shop and a couple other companies he’s been sponsored with in the past also could potentially be sponsoring Noah Grayson in 2025.
Then there was an article that came out from Adam certain as recently that Marty Smith could be headed to Amazon to be the lead commentator for the broadcast at Amazon.
Marty Smith hasn’t done a lot of play-by-play announcing, to my understanding, but we do think Marty Smith might be headed over there to work with potentially Dale Jr in 2025.
Another person that beheaded to Amazon is Steve Ar sear might be the crew chief up in the booth, meaning that the booth for Amazon might be Marty Smith, C lar and Dale Jr. next season.
We do think C lar could be headed over to Amazon for the 2025 Year and be there for a very, very long time.
Someone that has been rumored to Amazon.
A one point, though, is Adam Alexander, but we do believe he is a lead candidate for the Cw in the Nascar finish series.
Remember, the Cw will be broadcasting every Nascar C Series race starting next year, and they’re going to be looking for someone who can broadcast that.
We do think that Adam Alexander will be the league commentator, and it’ll probably be announced not too far down the road, then, was confirmed a couple weeks ago that Trackout racing has sold a minority ownership stake to the Avenue Sports fund.
Mark Lasbury, who owned the Milwaukee Bucks, has a part ownership in the team now, and they’ll be doing some reorganization in certain areas with that funding coming in, as they’ll be looking at- potentially expanded- that third Charter car for the 2025 season.
Then there was an article that came out about a week or two ago that Carson is hoping to run more Xfinity series races in 2025.
There is a chance that cars Kavle could be fulltime in the Nascar Xfinity series next year with Junior Motorsports.
As rumors continue to circulate about his future, we may see him in some orfin series races next year.
Then it was confirmed Indianapolis weekend that Cole Kuster will be driving to 41 for the Hos Factory team starting in 2025.
We don’t know who the crew chief is for him at this point.
We do expect that Jonathan Tony will likely be the crew chief of the 41 car.
Once again again, we do think it’s going to be a good year for Cole Kuster.
Potentially he’d be looking to have a great runs, as he is also looking for his first ever Nascar Cup Series championship, even though we don’t expect that to happen.
One driver who could join the Hos Factory team next year is Haley Degan.
She had confirmed-
And it was reported by Joe Kuster as well at the press conference-
That they’ve had conversations about Haley Dea potentially join the Hos Factory team next year.
Haley Degan does bring a little bit of sponsorship, but not as much as I realize, but I think, with them liking her a lot and they believing in her potential, I think he will see Haley Dean most likely in a Hos Factory team car for the 2025 calendar year.
One driver who could be in the Cb series Once Again is Aj Alad Dinger.
Bob pox has noted multiple times in his articles about the lineup.
The Aj Alad dinger’s name has been linked to a call of Cup Series ride fulltime.
You cannot count that out.
He doesn’t have a own sponsorship with him, though, which could hurt this chance of possibility of happening.
We may say Aj Alad Dinger back in the Nascar Cup Series once again in 2025.
Kyle Larson is hoping to still run the Indianapolis 500 in 20125.
There’s soen talks and conversations.
After he won the breakout 400.
He mentioned this at the press conference, mentioned this: after winning, we may see Kyle Larson get the chance to do again.
It’s not been officially announced, but we do know that Kyle Larson is in talks to run the N500 once again in 2025.
Then it was confirmed shockingly about a week or so ago, that Cory lejoy will not be R return to Spire Motorsports next year and will not be behind the wheel of the number seven car.
He is looking at other opportunities with teams like Collag and Rick were racing potentially for 2025, though the lack of rides is out there in cup.
As most teams assigned their rides for 2025.
We do think Cor Joy will hopefully find a ride going into next year.
I think it’ll likely be in a Call Xfinity series car next year.
Then there’s been this weird rumor going around that Pitbull was going to be leaving trackout racing.
However, Justin marks denied the rumor earlier today that he will be not leaving track house racing, and the rumor is quintessentially Bs.
People need to be careful what they see on social media, but P isn’t going anywhere.
A lot of this kind of got rampant because of the Avenue Sports fund coming into play, but trust me Pitpull will not be leaving track off racing as he also has a commitment to do the 2025 Daytona 500 and perform the press conference there.
And finally, Bob pckers reported recently that Cory day could run some Xfin Series races with Jrm in 2024 and also in 202 2.
Kyle Aron’s really rated this guy very highly.
Cory day has a ton of talent.
He does have a little funding help from Hendrick Carscom.
At this point we may see Cory day make some select starts, potentially in Xfin over the course of the next couple of years.
We may see it end up happening.
