NYC Bike Shop Worker Assaulted, Stabbing Ensues, and Cop Bitten by Maniac (VIDEO)

According to police reports, the sequence of events began around 1 p.m. on Monday outside the Fly E-Bike shop located on 42nd Street near Broadway in Astoria.

Surveillance video captured the disturbing moment when a 35-year-old man erupted into a violent rage, targeting a 28-year-old worker at the bike shop. The footage, obtained by The Post, showed the aggressor, who appeared to have been engaged in a heated exchange with the worker, suddenly striking him over the head with a helmet.

The unprovoked assault sent shockwaves through the busy street, as bystanders looked on in horror at the sudden eruption of violence. Witnesses reported hearing shouts and screams as the altercation escalated rapidly.

Amid the chaos, another individual intervened, reportedly stabbing the assailant in an attempt to stop the attack on the bike shop worker. The exact circumstances surrounding the stabbing remain under investigation by authorities.
