RACING MY IDOLS… SRX at Knoxville (VIDEO)- OMG

First Race at Knoxville

We just arrived at Knoxville for the SRX race. The dirt track looks promising for stock cars. After checking our trailer and grabbing some food, I prepared for the race. The car setup felt loose, so we made some adjustments.

Practice was brief since I missed earlier sessions due to racing in Nashville. Learning the car in just five laps was challenging, but I focused on keeping it straight and managing the rear end’s tendency to hang out.

In the first heat, I started fourth and finished third. In the second heat, I moved from ninth to fifth, securing a good starting position for the main race. The key was tire management, especially as the track dried out and grip decreased.

The main race was intense. I started P3, battled hard, and finished second behind Tony Stewart. This result was a huge confidence boost. Competing well against seasoned drivers and handling the challenging conditions felt rewarding.

Overall, the experience at Knoxville was fantastic. The SRX series is unique and exciting, and I’m looking forward to more races like this.
