“Hey guys, we’re here at Putnam Park in Indiana, testing a Formula 3 car. This is my first time driving an open-wheel car, and it’s a great opportunity that just came together perfectly. The plan is to spend two days here, getting used to the car today and then focusing on speed tomorrow.
The first run was intense. I had to learn to handle the car’s different dynamics, especially the braking and throttle, which are way different from what I’m used to in stock cars. The power and speed of this car are wild—at one point, I was coughing because of the vibrations at certain RPMs! But I made solid progress, learning how to maximize the car’s performance.
The second day was even better. I focused on refining my technique and managed to set my fastest lap yet, even on older tires. This experience was eye-opening, and I learned a ton about racing on road courses and handling a more complex vehicle.
Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I’m really happy with how much I improved. Now, time to grab some food and head home!”
